Sazalem is the living archive of Kazakh sound — songs (ән), sung poetry (өлең), folktales (ертегі), instrumental küy, audiobooks, spoken word. The project gathers, attributes, and preserves these forms so the audio heritage of Kazakhstan can be heard, read, cited, and inherited. Any person can become an artist on Sazalem and place their own work into the collection — privately, by link, or publicly to the world. Every contribution adds a new stand to the museum.
