Toregali Toreali

Töreğali Töreäliūly Älihanov, professionally known as Töreğali Töreäli, is a Kazakh singer born on 14 October 1992 in Baikonur, Kyzylorda Region. He studied at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov in Almaty, graduating as an actor (2009—2011). He began his career as an aytysker (traditional Kazakh improvisational poet), winning prizes at republic-wide student aytys competitions.

Töreğali rose to prominence in 2015 with the song "Allo" ("Hello"), a duet with Erke Esmahan. For his 2016 song "Birtürli qyz" ("An Unusual Girl"), he received the inaugural national television music award "Jyl Tañdauy" ("Choice of the Year"). In 2017, he won the "Star Fight" competition against Kairat Nurtas.

His music genre is often described as toi-pop, and he is also known by the alias "Ūly dala balasy" ("Son of the Great Steppe"). His father, Töreäli Tölepov, serves as his producer. In June 2023, he was involved in a highly publicized incident involving driving under the influence, resulting in the loss of his driving license for 7 years. He remains one of Kazakhstan's most popular pop singers, with hits including "Ana", "Qazaq jastary", and "Kешірдім".
